Uncle Ricky's Hall of Fame

2008 - Present

I thought that last year ended very well but this year is almost as good and it's only March! The lake is at or even slightly above pool level and the fish are already on the move. With the water being up, most of the timber and other hazards are hidden which is making this lake, in my opinion much more dangerous!

Please remember to respect the timber in this lake!!!

Well! What can you say about a year where I had four boats swamped due to High winds and inexperienced drivers, aquired three new heart arteries and watched my life attitude go to hell in a hand basket! Let's just say that 2010 shall remain "nameless" A long way to just get back to where I was!

I'm Baaaaack!

2011! The lake is low but the reports are way overblown! Some of the timber stumps are showing again. {Don't worry. There are still a lot that you can't see!} Some of the spawning spots are now lakeside property but the nests seem to have just moved out a little deeper. I have had a lot of customers picking up premium fish this season! Including a Missouri Lunker. {?? Still waiting for those photos!}
